Currently, Mainfreight’s generosity extends to nearly 5,700 children in 24 schools nationally. In addition, Books in Homes is located in Mainfreight’s Sydney headquarters.

The company has supported many regional and outback schools in NSW, Qld, SA, and WA on the Books in Homes Program since 2011. Currently, BHP Carrapateena sponsors four schools in regional SA.

    Waratah Education Foundation

    Waratah Education Foundation supports programs that pursue, promote, and improve education outcomes, so all children in Australia can gain essential life skills and realise their academic potential. The Foundation supports educational activities and programs that help break the cycle of poverty and disadvantage amongst marginalised communities. The Foundation also facilitates and support the development of knowledge through research programs which may prove to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people. Currently, the organisation supports eight regional NSW schools onto the Books in Homes Primary Program.
