BOOKS IN HOMES CHARITABLE PARTNER FOR WORDS ON THE WAVES FESTIVAL 2024
May 9, 2024 0Books in Homes is honoured to be the charity partner again for the fourth Words on the Waves Writers Festival on the Central Coast of NSW. Exploring the theme “past is present is future is always”, prepare to soak up unbelievable stories, sail through big ideas and deep-dive into unspoken histories. With nearly 100 speakers featured in approximately 70 free and ticketed sessions, and a whole new venue and program stream, this year is the Festival’s biggest yet!
In addition, the 2024 Ripples Schools Program “The Ripple Effect” is designed to inspire the next generation of readers, creative artists and storytellers of the Central Coast by offering an engaging, educational and interactive day. Over three fun-filled sessions, primary students will explore the world of literature with outstanding children’s authors and illustrators.
This year, Books in Homes will have a table at the Primary Schools Program at the Ripples Schools Program on Thursday 30 May 2024 from 9:30am to 2:00pm. The venue will be the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus, 10 Chittaway Road, Ourimbah NSW 2258. We’re looking forward to participating once more.
