Books in Homes Australia is excited to announce its new strategic partnership with Storyville, which is an Equity Foundation initiative. The Storyville program sends actors into schools to use their talents to bring children’s books to life. From 2019, many Storyville storytellers will also be bridging into Books in Homes as Role Models, and will be attending Book Giving Assemblies at disadvantaged, Indigenous or remote primary schools, preschools and early childhood centres around the country that participate on the Books in Homes Program. Books in Homes is delighted to collaborate with Storyville, as it presents a wonderful opportunity for gifted performers to draw on their repertoire of skills in order to enhance literature-based activities, and to entrance, entertain and inspire children during live readings.
