Books in Homes was the fortunate recipient of $10,000 from the Mingara Recreation Club on the Central Coast, NSW, at their recent Mingara Celebration. The club raises money and supports many local community organisations and charitable initiatives in the Central Coast region, and Books in Homes was amongst them. Celebrated author and Books in Homes Book Selection Committee member, Susanne Gervay OAM, accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity and made a wonderful speech. The donation will fund the Program for The Entrance Public School.

Books in Homes is grateful for the ongoing support and generosity of Mingara Recreation Club for making this all possible, and for hosting such an extraordinarily fun and joyful evening.
